How To Use The Bellybinder

Wrap the BellyBinder around the patient's abdomen centering the BellyPad over the abdomen.If the patient is right handed place the plate that is sewn to the belt on the right center side of abdomen. If the patient is left handed place the plate that is sewn to the belt on the left center side of abdomen.

The BellyBinder is 6 foot long and is cut to fit for each patient. Extend the loose end of the plate to the other side of the belt folding back the excess binder material. Use the gap width between the two plates as a cutting guide. You will want to cut the binder when the material is approximately 1" past the loose end of the plate.

After cutting, attach the loose ends of the plate to the belt.

Pull the handle to achieve desired level of support. The cord lock will automatically hold the tension at the point at which you stop pulling. To loosen, simply pull the handle slightly and push the cord lock to release the tension.
